2 Definitions
2.1 From the GDPR
This privacy policy uses the terms of the legal text of the GDPR. You can view the definitions (Art. 4 GDPR) at https://dejure.org/gesetze/DSGVO/4.html, for example.
2.2 Cookie
Cookies are text files that are stored on or read from your device by a website. They contain combinations of letters and numbers, e.g. to recognize the user and his settings when reconnecting to the cookie-setting website, to enable the user to remain logged in to a customer account or to statistically analyze certain usage behavior.
3. general information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent permitted by law. Personal data is only passed on in the cases described below (see 4. below).
The personal data will be deleted or protected by technical and organizational measures (e.g. pseudonymization, encryption) as soon as the purpose of the processing no longer applies. This also takes place when a prescribed storage period expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the personal data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.
Unless we are legally obliged to store the data for a longer period or to pass it on to third parties (in particular law enforcement authorities), the decision as to which personal data we collect, how long it is stored and to what extent you may have to disclose it depends on which functions of the website you use in each individual case.
4 Data processing in connection with the use of the website
The use of the website and its functions regularly requires the processing of certain personal data.
4.1 Informational use of the website
If you access our website and use it purely for information purposes, i.e. without using additional functions such as the contact form or social media plugins, we automatically collect personal data. This is the following information IP address of your end device as well as the date and time of accessing the website, the browser type and the operating system of your PC. This information is transmitted by your browser unless you have configured it to suppress the transmission of this information.
This personal data is processed to ensure the functionality and optimization of the website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. This is also our legitimate interest, which is why processing is permitted under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
The personal data is stored for a period of four weeks. We do not merge this personal data with other data sources. Data is only passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the operation of our website. For this purpose, personal data is transferred to the website agency and hoster. A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended.
4.2 Google Maps
Parts of our website use Google Maps functions to integrate map data. This content is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). This allows interactive maps to be displayed directly on the website and enables the use of the map function. When you access the subpage of our website on which Google Maps is used, your browser loads the necessary code from Google. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google's servers. This informs Google that our website has been accessed via your IP address. At the same time, Google can store cookies on your end device, unless you have prohibited the use of cookies in your browser, or read cookies. Location data may also be collected if you allow this in your browser. This takes place regardless of whether you are logged in via a Google user account. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned to your Google user account. If you do not wish such an assignment, you must log out before accessing the map function. Google Maps is used for the purpose of making our website appealing and convenient and to make it easier to find the places indicated on our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR. Your IP address is collected by us to enable transmission to Google. You are not obliged to provide this personal data, but it is not possible to use the relevant parts of our website without providing it.
Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
4.3 Social media plugin: YouTube
Parts of our website use the services of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, ("YouTube") to display video content. When you access the relevant pages, your browser loads the YouTube code required to display the video. For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to YouTube's servers. As a result, YouTube becomes aware that our website has been accessed via your IP address. At the same time, YouTube can store cookies on your end device, unless you have prohibited the use of cookies in your browser, or read cookies.
YouTube plugins are used for the purpose of making our website appealing and to enable the display of video content. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 letter f GDPR.
Your IP address is collected by us to enable transmission to YouTube. You are not obliged to provide this personal data, but it is not possible to use the relevant parts of our website without providing it.
If you do not want YouTube to assign the personal data collected via our website to your YouTube account, you must log out of YouTube before visiting our website. You can find more information about YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/intl/de/yt/about/.
You can find YouTube's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

In addition, your IP address and the date and time of the contact request are stored if you send us an e-mail.
The data processing serves the purpose of responding to your inquiry and preventing misuse of the contact form and ensuring the security of our information technology systems.
This processing is lawful because responding to your inquiry and protecting our IT systems constitute legitimate interests within the meaning of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
The personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to answer your request. If your inquiry leads to the conclusion of a contract at a later date, the data will be stored for as long as is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfill the contract. After that, the personal data is routinely deleted on a regular basis. We do not merge this personal data with other data sources. Data is not passed on to third parties. A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended. You are not obliged to provide this personal data, but it is not possible to use the contact form or send an e-mail without providing it.
4.5 Functions: Setting up and using a customer account
You can create a customer account on our website. If you do this, the personal data you enter there will be transmitted to us by your browser and stored in our information technology systems. The processing of the personal data entered by you serves the purpose of being able to assign future usage processes such as orders or contact inquiries to your customer account. This processing is lawful because it is necessary for the performance of a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. This is also our legitimate interest, which is why processing is permitted in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
